  • The National Chairman of the ruling Peoples Democratic Party, Bamangar Tukur, on Thursday asked the Federal Government to put an immediate stop to indiscriminate killings in Nigeria.

This call was made at a meeting with a delegation from Ekiti State PDP, where the PDP leader condemned in the strongest terms, the massacre and asked the government to, at all costs, get hold of the perpetrators of the attack.

In the same vein, the Christian Association of Nigeria has condemned the Mubi killings and called on the National Assembly to immediately ensure the passage of the anti-terrorism Bill into law. Meanwhile, CAN r rejected the theory that the massacre was a dispute between the SUG and the students.

You would recall that on Monday night, gunmen stormed the Federal Polytechnic, Mubi, Adamawa State killing over 40 students at close range shots while others were reportedly butchered with knifes in one of the most deadly tertairly instiution attacks in Nigeria history.
