As part of efforts to boost Cross River State as the peak destination for tourism to Nigeria, Nicki Minaj has been offered $200,000 (N31 Million) to perform at the Calabar Carnival festival in Nigeria.

The carnival which begins 1st – 31st December 2012, is tagged “Africa’s Biggest Street Party”. Stakeholders insists that it would boost the cultural mosaic of Nigeria people as well as entertain millions of spectators within and outside the State, and boosting industrial growth
